Acorn Room

Acorn room is our activity and  ‘messy’ room, with opportunities to have fun with paints, water, jelly and lots of other materials. There’s plenty of stimulus for physical activities and role play, with construction toys, train sets, a large dolls house and garage, puzzles, books, dressing up clothes, magnets, puzzles, tabletop games and pegs to encourage the fine motor skills required to prepare children for writing, whilst encouraging their imagination and creative skills.

Oak Leaf Room

Our oak leaf room is a cosy home away from home, the children can snuggle down with a member of staff to read books. With sensory toys, puzzles, vehicles, a book area and a welcoming cosy area to relax and snuggle into the soft blankets and cushions, members of staff encourage your child’s early speech, supporting self-expression in all kinds of exciting ways and can explore the many exciting activities that take place from imagination play to music and dancing.

Activity Garden

Our specialist Early Years Teachers guide every child to reaching their development goals, designing unique learning opportunities and providing a fresh, natural and innovative approach to early education. Through exploring the wonder of nature, the children gain valuable experience in a calm and nurturing environment. Outdoor play also enables children to enjoy the natural environment and learn to seek out exercise, fresh air, and activity. Our activity garden allows for structured and free flow play enabling the children to develop confidence and coordination.

Woodland School

The children have an area of woodland set aside as a woodland school. Our woodland setting offers the children the opportunity to achieve, develop confidence and self-esteem through hands-on experience in a new environment and learn about nature in a fun and informative way.

When the children are in our forest area they have time for free play as well as structured activities.

Within the woodland school, the children also have access to a mud kitchen, bug hotel and play equipment. Our woodland setting offers stimulating resources, rich learning opportunities and supports the children to take risks and explore.

The woodland school is continuously being developed since it was opened in 2021.
